The 2027 Fall Fiesta brings together journalism educators for four days of professional growth at the Lila Cockrell Theatre from October 22 to 25. Participants will dive into sessions focused on modern teaching techniques and emerging media trends that are shaping the industry.

Workshops will cover topics such as digital ethics, podcasting for students, and effective newsroom management. These hands-on experiences are tailored to help educators bring fresh ideas back to their classrooms and engage students more effectively.

Ample time is set aside for networking, allowing attendees to exchange ideas and form partnerships that extend beyond the event. Special presentations will highlight successful student journalism programs from around the state, providing valuable insights and motivation.
